The Southeastern Camping Unit will be hosting it’s second “Taste of Texas” Rally this spring. The dates for the rally are May 3 thru May 8, 2023. We will be camping at the Guadalupe River State Park. Reservations can be made 5 months in advance (Dec. 3, 2021.)The sites in the Turkey Sink loop are 50 amp with water (no sewer) and cost $24 per night plus $8 per person per day. Site numbers are 38 thru 85. Fishing and kayaking will be available plus swimming if you like COLD water!
Day trips to San Antonio (Alamo, boat tour on the Riverwalk, Mexican food), New Braunfels (shopping, German food, historic Gruene Hall), Driftwood and Dripping Springs Texas (world-famous Salt Like BBQ, Deep Eddy Distillery and Dripping Springs Distillery) are in the plans. We will have some happy hours and pot lucks thrown in for good measure!
This is a "no fee” event, meaning you are responsible for making and paying for your reservations and meals, etc. We will carpool to the day trip locations. For more information or to get your name on the list, please contact Kathy Carl,
