When starting to plan for a spring event, we were in the peak of the pandemic with no end in sight. We determined that it would be safer to hold smaller, more regional spring gatherings concurrently than one huge spring gathering with folks coming from all over the province. We have, therefore, arranged two concurrent opportunities to campout in different parts of the province – the Richmond Fairgrounds in Richmond, ON, and the Centre Wellington Sports Complex campground in Fergus, ON.
Secondly, we’ll be observing COVID precautions in place at the campgrounds and in the surrounding areas. We can’t predict what level the restrictions will be at the end of May in either location. Therefore, we have no planned activities such as group meals. But we can still gather for outdoor coffee and happy hours while maintaining physical distances. Just seeing some familiar faces will be wonderful, even if it is just from the nose up. If the weather cooperates, we will arrange a time for an under-your-awning flea market. Bring items you wish to sell.
The only fee is for camping.
