This rally which originated as a Virginia Unit event decades ago, is sponsored by Region 3. We rally at
Cool Breeze Campground https://www.coolbreezecampground.com/ outside of Galax. The Convention is held at Felts Park in downtown Galax from the 5th to the 10th. But plan to check in at Cool Breeze on Sunday and depart on Sunday (7 nights). The campground is just off of the blue ridge parkway and lives up to its name (a plus in August!)

Dog Days of Summer Rally 8 - 11 Aug 3244 Harmon Lake Rd Mandan ND 58554 Spend a relaxing long weekend at the lake. Recreation is in the name, with sand beach swimming area, kayak and canoe rental on the no-wake lake, 19 miles of hiking/biking mountain and paved trail, and playground for the kids. Expect a tour or two in the area and plenty time to relax, shop, and catch up with friends. Don’t forget your party lights! This is a Buddy Rally – unit members can invite a Buddy to join us at Harmon Lake. The two-day Mystic Outdoor Art Festival is the oldest, juried art show in the Northeast region. The trail of artists begins in downtown Mystic and follows the Mystic River into the shipyard of the Mystic Seaport Museum. The festival showcases close to 270 artists from around the country with over a mile of fine arts and crafts including oils, watercolors, photography, textiles, sculpture, woodwork, acrylics and more.
