Carter Lake is easily accessible from the Front Range, about 1 hour north of Denver. There are great hiking trails around the lake which also offers bathing, boating and fishing. Campsites are situated along the lake and pull-throughs are plentiful.

Join us in the beautiful and peaceful valley in Meeker Colorado for the 2023 Meeker Classic Sheep Dog Trials. These trials are the culmination of several competitions and the winner takes the grand prize.
