This park is nested at the edge of the Blue Ridge Escarpment, just two miles off the Foothills Scenic Highway. Palmetto Cove RV Park was previously home to the annual Alumalina Rally and was originally founded as an Airstream campground designed for rallies. It has 11 miles of hiking trails, one with a glorious Catskill view, fishing, boating and golf. The park has 10 sites that have blocked off by the Dutchess County Parks and Recreation so that all sites will be filled withAirstreams for the weekend. We have a group of spacious, wooded sites reserved in Mohawk Village, with electricity and nearby shared water hookups (bring your hose.) On Saturday, we have something groovy – a Psychedelic 60’s Party. Bring your best tie-dye and love beads, baby! We’ll spin the tunes from the Summer of Love.
