This is an active caravan which travels through altitudes of 4000 to 8000 feet elevation. Anyone with health issues related to high altitudes should be aware that this caravan involves activities in some high-altitude areas. Drivers should also be comfortable driving in mountains. We will also experience a wide range of temperatures, so come prepared! We will do some dry camping and cell-phone service and campground internet will be limited. Then get ready to taste the wines at your choice of 30+ wineries in the Grand Valley AVA, trek with an Alpaca, kayak the Colorado River, bike through the vineyards and orchards, pick/purchase a lug of peaches, golf, or just relax and takein the spectacular views. Coffee hour each morning to socialize and plan your day, and a Happy Hour each evening to share the day’s adventures. Saturday evening, there will be a pot luck along with a bottle-sharing / tasting event at the campground where you will have the opportunity to share some wine, beer, mead, and spirits that you discovered during your stay in Palisade and taste some of what others enjoyed.

Quechee State Park Campground 23 - 25 Aug 5800 Woodstock Road Hartford VT 05047 Do you have friends who camp and are interested in owning an Airstream and joining our wonderful Airstream life? Invite them to join us in Vermont and enjoy a wonderful weekend exploring the Quechee area. This park has two restrooms with flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and coin-operated hot showers. There is a dump station but there are no hook-ups. The focal point of the park is Vermonts deepest gorge, formed by glacial activity approximately 13,000 years ago.
