Hi everyone, Time to start thinking about planning and attending rallies in 2026! If you are thinking about attending the International Rally in Minot ND, jump on the ACI website and get registered. If you want to go please contact Merlin Huso (club Vice President) merlyn.huso@gmail.com as he is making plans to go and would like to team up with someone to make the trip. Merlyn is not hosting a caravan! This rally is scheduled for the third week in August and I'm looking for a Montana Airstream Club member to be our flag bearer at the opening ceremony. We were at Sedalia last year, I was the flag bearer for Montana and it was really fun. Let me know and I'll get you the flag and a pole if you'd like to represent us at the opening ceremony. Plans for the annual Dust Off Rally are underway. June 10th to June 13th at the Polson, MT KOA. Be sure to attend this one as the Flathead area has a lot to offer. I'll be sending out more information on this one in the next few months. Region 10 Rally in Hood River, OR., June 24th to June 28th. Registration should open in early January, so keep your eyes peeled for that one. This year registration will be on a lottery system so your odds of getting in are better than in previous years. JoAnn and I are planning on going and because I'm the President I'm guaranteed a slot (rank does carry SOME privileges!). For those who succeed in nailing down registrations to this one, it might be fun to caravan from Polson to Hood River as the two rallies are only ten days apart. I was thinking Sand Point Idaho for one stop, Wine Country RV Park in Pasco WA the second stop and Mary Hill State Park, WA as the third stop. Someone would need to volunteer to host this caravan, as JoAnn and I will be in Seaside OR for a soccer tournament with the grandkids on the 20th and the 21st (Yes, we will be camping in the Airstream!). Let me know if you wish to host this caravan and I will help you with details if you like. The Montana Airstream Club is the host for the HAB in 2026. This rally will take place in Butte, MT September 2nd to September 7th, 2026. We will be inviting the Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada clubs and their affiliates and the Montana affiliate members as well. The theme will be showcasing mining "The Richest Hill on Earth". Registration for the HAB will begin sometime in July. This will be the 62nd annual staging of our Hands Across the Border event with our good friends from Canada. Fun stuff! Kevin Johnson is kicking around the idea of staging a pop-up rally at Holland Lake (north of Seeley Lake) in 2026. Beautiful country up there. And of course there's the annual Red Ants Pants Music Festival in White Sulphur Springs, MT the third week of July. Just do a search for Red Ants Pants Music Festival on your phone for all the details. That's a big event in Montana and a must see if you've never been to one!
