Discover the Culture of the MHA Nation

Experience the culture and history of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation, also known as the Three Affiliated Tribes, on Thursday, August 20.
The tour begins with a visit to the MHA Interpretive Center, where guests will learn about the heritage, traditions, and stories of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara peoples. The experience continues at Earth Lodge Village, where participants will see traditional earth lodge structures, enjoy a cultural dance performance, and share a traditional lunch featuring regional specialties such as Indian Taco and Juneberry pudding.
Guests will also have the chance to take part in traditional hand games, a long-standing cultural activity among Plains tribes, before returning to Minot in the afternoon.
Participation is limited to 54 people, so register early! If you register for this tour, be sure your rally camping arrival date is Wednesday, August 19.

A Day at the International Peace Garden

Travel north from Minot to visit the beautiful International Peace Garden, located on the border between the United States and Canada. Known as a symbol of friendship between the two nations, the garden features vibrant floral displays, peaceful walking paths, and meaningful monuments.
A guided tour will lead participants through the Formal and Sunken Gardens and past the impressive Canadian and U.S. floral flag displays. Along the way, guests will visit landmarks including the Order of the Eastern Star Peace Chapel, the 9/11 Memorial Site at the International Peace Garden, and A Promise of Peace sculpture.
The day includes a catered luncheon and free time to explore highlights such as the Conservatory, the Cacti and Succulent Collection (which was donated by ACI Member Jeff Hanson’s cousin’s family!), and the garden’s gift shop before returning to Minot later in the afternoon.
Participation is limited to 54 people. If you register for this tour, be sure your rally camping arrival date is Thursday, August 20 or earlier.

Taste of Minot Food Tours
Experience Minot, one bite at a time! This guided downtown walking tour is designed with travelers in mind. It is the perfect way to stretch your legs, meet fellow rally attendees, and discover the local flavor of Minot beyond the campground. Along the way, you will visit a variety of locally loved spots, enjoying curated tastings of food and drinks while hearing the stories that make this community unique.
From savory bites to sweet treats and refreshing sips, each stop highlights a different piece of Minot’s personality. You will meet local business owners, learn a bit of history, and uncover hidden gems you might not find on your own.
Tours run approximately three hours and are limited to 20 guests to keep the experience personal. Advance booking is recommended.

Golf Scramble
Start Rally Monday on the greens of the beautiful Souris Valley Golf Course! This fun and friendly scramble-format tournament is open to Rally attendees of all skill levels and is a great way to connect with fellow members while enjoying a morning on the course.
The Souris Valley Golf Course is located 4 miles from the fairgrounds. We will be taking the first 120 people to sign up; four to a team (Maximum of 30 teams). Shotgun start. There will be an A group and a B group to start on par 4s and 5s (two teams to a hole) and 1 team will start out on the par 3s. We will limit registration to the first 120 people to ensure pace of play stays moving.
Format: Scramble format

Mad Hatter Tea Party

Held every other year, this enchanting gathering returns in 2026 with a whimsical Mad Hatter theme full of wonder, laughter, and delightful surprises. Embrace the spirit of Wonderland by dressing in your favorite curious, colorful, and delightfully mad attire for an afternoon of tea, treats, and laughter with friends.

Grapes & Grains Mega Tasting
Get ready to kick up your boots and raise a glass at this year’s highly anticipated Mega Tasting event: The Grapes & Grains Saloon! Whether you’re a craft beer connoisseur, a wine enthusiast, or a spirit aficionado, this is your chance to share a taste of something truly special with your fellow Airstreamers.

Stay and Play
If you’d like to stay at the fairgrounds after rally ends and enjoy the Minot area, ACI has obtained Stay and Play rates of $25 per night for 30 amp electric. Simply contact the North Dakota State Fairgrounds office onsite.
