Most Rallys are very informal, we usually have a one or two potluck dinners, where you bring a dish, and the club provides the meat. Plan on lots of campfire time, and your free to explore the area for most the weekend. We also collect a small kitty fee to cover expenses. This is such a popular area and there is so much to do, we reserved 6 nights. We originally had 15 sites reserved at Custer’s Gulch RV Resort and Campground. The interest was so high from our members, we went back and acquired additional sites. Besides Mt Rushmore, the Badlands, Wall Drug, Devils Tower, Custer State Park, and checking out the Bisons, you have the surrounding towns of Sturgis, Spearfish, and Deadwood. Wild Bill Days is in Deadwood on Saturday. Deadwood’s colorful history comes alive with Gun Fights, Old Style Saloons, and a couple Country Western Concerts.
