They also have restrooms and shower houses on-site.  The York Expo Center is a beautiful, well-maintained facility. Located within minutes of major highways, this remarkable 87-acre fenced and gated campus lies within a residential neighborhood.  Year-round buildings are heated and air conditioned.

Q13: Can I rent a golf cart or bring my own?
A: Yes and yes. Information on rentals will be available soon.

Q14:  Wi-Fi: Does free Wi-Fi exist, and where?

Q15: Are we allowed to have campfires?
A:  Raised, self-contained campfires are permitted at the York Expo Center. This includes propane and wood burning firepits.

Q16: What is the flag display policy?
A. At the Airstream Club International Rally, we take pride in maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment for all participants. To uphold the spirit of unity and camaraderie, we ask that attendees adhere to the following guidelines regarding flag display:

  1. Official Flags Only:
We encourage the display of national, state, and Airstream Club flags, as well as military service flags, in accordance with proper flag etiquette.

  2. No Political Flags:
To ensure the rally remains a non-partisan and inclusive event, the display of political flags, banners, or signs of any kind is not permitted. This policy helps to foster a respectful atmosphere where all members feel welcome.

Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for everyone at the rally.

Q17.  Do we need to bring extra hoses, power cords, and adapters?
A:  Yes, just in case. The exact amount of electrical cord you will need is dependent on the length of the trailer and varies based on your exact campsite's distance from the pedestal or distribution panel. Plan to bring (2) 25 ft. or longer water hoses and a Y-connector. Also note the facility power pedestals will have only 30-amp sockets, so bring the appropriate adapter for your trailer!

PARKING, ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE:

Q18:  When will Rally parking begin?
A:  General parking is August 23 8 am-6 pm. You may select an earlier parking arrival date of August 20, 21 or 22 when registering.

*IMPORTANT* CLICK HERE TO REVIEW THE ARRIVAL DETAILS.

Anyone arriving after 6 pm beginning on August 18 may stay in the staging area, remain hitched, and dry camp overnight until the Rally Arrival Team opens the parking gates at 8 am.  Anyone who arrives between 8 am-6 pm prior to their registered arrival date will be charged $75 per night to be parked in their campsite before their registered parking date.  However, you cannot be parked before Wednesday, August 20. Please try your best to pre-register for the day you want to park in your camping spot: the Rally Arrival Team thanks you!

Q19:  Can I park with my buddy?
A:  The parking team will make every effort to park you with your friends, but you must arrive together. Please review the following information that will help us help you park with a group:

  • Please plan to meet offsite and caravan to the grounds together.

  • Want to park with your Home Club or in any group of five or more Airstreams? Groups of five or more Airstreams should register for Group Parking by emailing rally@airstreamclub.org. If you are not registered with a Group leader, we will not have the ability to plan space for you to park in the same area. Contact your Home Club president to learn about arrangements to park with your Home Club.

  • If you are planning to park in a Group, everyone in the Group needs to be registered to arrive the same day.

  • If you are planning to park with any of the following Groups, be sure to select that group when you register: ADA, Band and all Intra-Clubs.

In short, as amazing and extraordinary as our volunteer parking crew is, we likely will not be able to accommodate requests for special parking at the time of your arrival if you haven't made arrangements per the above guidelines.

Q20:  Can I keep my tow vehicle parked with my trailer at the campsite?

A:  Yes, parking will be available.

Q22: Will the Interstate, Rangeline and Atlas units be parked in their own area or dispersed throughout the facility?

Q23:  Will Interstate, Rangeline and Atlas members be able to move their rigs in and out of the area, as others can move their tow vehicles to go shopping, empty tanks, etc.?
A:  Yes, you will be able to move in and out of the parking spots throughout the campgrounds.

Q24:  How long does the rally last and when do I leave?
A:  The rally officially kicks off with Opening Ceremonies Saturday evening, August 23. You can come and go from your campsite as you please all week long.

The rally ends late on Thursday evening, August 28, so departure day is by noon on Friday, August 29. It's OK if you can't stay until the very end of the rally: we'll be sad to see you go early, but no one is going to stop you if you take off before Friday.

On the contrary, you can stay camped at the York Expo Center for $40 per night for full hookups, $35 for Electric and Water, and $30 for Electric only. You must obtain a parking permit and pay at the Expo Center office via credit card, cash or check once you are at the rally. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Q30:  Tell me about the Heritage Rail Trail in York, PA!
A: Definitely bring your bikes, not only to get around from your campsite to the buildings but to cycle along the Heritage Rail Trail in York, PA.  Extending approximately 30 miles between the City of York and the Mason-Dixon Line, the trail weaves through 11 municipalities and connects to the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail in Maryland.  The Heritage Rail Trail County Park is a short 1.2 mile ride from the Expo Center.

With an easy grade, 10-foot-wide paths of compacted stone and asphalt – also ADA-accessible – the trail offers an enjoyable journey for everyone. The Northern Central Railway of York, an authentic replica of the 1860s steam locomotive, offers train excursions and runs adjacent to the trail, so stay clear of the tracks.
