Renters will be responsible for refueling their own carts. Renters are welcome to share a cart with a fellow member, but you are responsible for exchanging monies for the rental. Stay tuned for more information on how to rent a golf cart.
Q: WiFi: Does free WiFi exist, and where?
A: Strong WiFi exists in the main buildings but not in the general parking areas.
Q: Are we allowed to have campfires?
A: No, campfires are not permitted at the Missouri State Fairgounds. This includes propane and wood burning firepits.
Q. Do we need to bring extra hoses, power cords, and adapters?
A: Yes, just in case (the exact amount of sewer/electrical line you will need is dependent on the length of the trailer and varies based on your exact campsite's distance from the pedestal). To be sure you're covered please bring (2) 25 ft. or longer water hoses, electrical cables and sewer hoses. Also note the facility power pedestals only have 50A sockets, so bring the appropriate adapter if you have a 30A trailer.
Parking, Arrival & Departure:
Q: When will Rally parking begin?
A: General parking is October 5. You may select an earlier parking arrival date when registering. If you decide not to register for an arrival date earlier than October 5, but change your mind: no problem, just click this link to add and process payment for additional days securely online, or call headquarters at 937-596-5211 and ask for a change. You may choose to arrive up to three days in advance, starting October 2 for an additional $50 per day.
Q: Can I park with my buddy?
A: The parking team will make every effort to park you with your friends, but you must arrive together. Please review the following information that will help us help you park with a group:
-
Please plan to meet offsite and caravan to the grounds together.
-
Groups of five or more Airstreams should register for Group Parking by emailing rally@airstreamclub.org. If you are not registered with a Group leader, we will not have the ability to plan space for you to park in the same area.
-
If you are planning to park in a Group, everyone in the Group needs to be registered to arrive the same day.
-
If you are planning to park with any of the following Groups, be sure to select that group when you register: ADA, Band and all Intra-Clubs.
In short, as amazing and extraordinary as our volunteer parking crew is, we likely will not be able to accommodate requests for special parking at the time of your arrival if you haven't made arrangements per the above guidelines.
Q: Can I keep my tow vehicle parked with my trailer at the campsite?
A: Yes, and you'll be able to unhitch to come and go as you please. You can drive your vehicle up to one of the designated parking areas near the buildings to attend functions.
Q: For members staying offsite, will my vehicle that I drive to and from the rally be able to park close to the activities?
A: Yes, parking will be available.
Q: Will the Interstates and Atlas units be parked in their own area or dispersed throughout the facility?
A: Interstates and Atlas units are parked based on arrival time and will be parked amongst the rest of the Airstreams, not in a separate area.
Q: Will Interstates and Atlas members be able to move their rigs in and out of the area, as others can move their tow vehicles to go shopping, empty tanks, etc.?
A: Yes, you will be able to move in and out of the parking spots throughout the campgrounds.
Q: How long does the rally last and when do I leave?
A: The rally officially kicks off with Opening Ceremonies Saturday evening, October 5. The Vintage Airstream Club Parade is earlier in the day Saturday afternoon. If you can get to the rally in time for the parade, it's really fun to see the Vintage Airstreams arrive all lined up by year and parading to their parking spots! You can come and go from your campsite as you please all week long. The rally ends late on Thursday evening, October 10, so departure day is by noon on Friday, October 11. It's OK if you can't stay until the very end of the rally: we'll be sad to see you go early, but no one is going to stop you if you take off before Friday. On the contrary, if you'd like to stay and hang out a while, you can stay camped at the Missouri State Fairgrounds for up to 14 nights after the rally for $25 per night. You can pay this additional "Airstream Rally Stay & Play Camping Fee" to the Fairgrounds office via credit card, cash or check once you are at the rally.

Q: Are there activities for the children?

A: Yes, please make plans to bring your furry friends per the following On-Grounds Pet Policy: All pets must be on a 6-foot, non-retractable leash when outside the Airstream. Always check collars and leashes to make sure they fit correctly and are working properly. A size-appropriate pet containment system can be used at the campsite. Pets are not permitted in the buildings or outside dining areas during a meal with the exception of working service animals. During severe weather, pets may be taken into the designated shelters. Well-mannered dogs are welcome to play and exercise in designated dog parks. Always clean up after your pet. And, make sure your pet has an ID tag.
General:
Q: Tell me more about the Katy Trail:
A: Definitely bring your bikes, not only to get around from your campsite to the buildings but to cycle along the must-see Katy Trail. The Katy Trail runs 240 miles along the original Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railway Lines, offering beautiful views of the Missouri countryside. The trail is primarily crushed limestone. It is not fully paved, but the limestone surface is well-maintained and suitable for walking, running and biking. The Katy Trail is the nation’s longest rails-to-trails project to date. It is also a part of the American Discovery Trail. Sedalia offers two trailheads: The Katy Depot at 600 East Third (mile marker 227) and the equine trailhead on Clarendon Road (mile marker 229) at the State Fairgrounds. The trailhead at the Katy Depot Welcome Center in Sedalia is the only full-service location along the Katy Trail offering trail information, refreshments, gifts, souvenirs and bicycle-related items.
